Eligible candidates must complete a FireTEAM test administered by National Testing Network (March 6, 2021 or more recent). The last date to complete the FireTeam test is Sunday, March 6, 2022.

Ability to Read/Speak English:

Prior Experience Required:
Must have completed first Paramedic re-certification period

Required Certifications:
Valid WA State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification at time of application
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification

Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
The ability to connect with our diverse community and communicate directly with community members through bilingual, or multilingual, interactions is highly desirable

Additional Requirements:
MUST have completed first Paramedic re-certification period
Valid WA State driver license at time of application, or the ability to obtain a valid WA State driver license by time of hire
Must successfully pass a Candidate Physical Abilities Test (CPAT) test during the recruitment process (may obtain at any time during the interview process). The District will cover the cost of one (1) CPAT test (this must be completed prior to an offer to a Chief’s interview)

Please be advised: applicants who tested with NTN and submitted their test scores to Snohomish Regional Fire & Rescue between March 6, 2021 and March 6, 2022 are eligible for the current process provided they obtain a top score
